What started out as a trip to Cabela's in Buda, TX turned into a whole God idea and ministry. We were on our way to visit family in the Austin area and made a stop at Cabela's to let the kids stretch their legs. Outside of the store was a Lamborghini and a McLaren! We are car admirers, so we told our kids we were going to get a picture of them with the cars! Except, we had to wait in line behind several other people. BOOM! Jake leaned over to me (Teresa) and said, "What if the name of Jesus was somehow on these cars? What if eye catching cars had Jesus on them somewhere? Then, people driving on the roads would no doubt see them ... they might even say the name of Jesus. It will release power into their lives!" And the idea of the Jesus Truck and the ministry Horsepower4Jesus were birthed!

 

We sought the Lord all the way home and then got to work putting all of the steps into place to create the very first ever Jesus Truck! We heard the Lord calling us to bring attention to Jesus and the sovereignty of God Almighty and to use the truck as a vehicle for evangelism. ​We heard the call to bring the name of Jesus to places where it may never ever be spoken and to join the wave of revival happening in our area.

Now it is our mission to empower a community of believers to use their vehicles to magnify the Lord! Now more than ever, the world needs to know Jesus is real. God is faithful. His power knows no limits. We call this the Jesus Fleet!
